The operations of the Ocean Springs Public Works Department will be relocated from Pine Drive to a new location off of Bienville Blvd, previously occupied by a plant facility.
This project will be done in two phases. Phase I will include constructing a new public works admin building, maintenance shop, department barns, and material storage. This construction will take place at the new public works location off Highway 90. Phase II of this project will include the demoing and cleanup of the existing public works located on Pine Drive. The purpose of this relocation is to centrally locate the Public Works Department, as well as to remove heavy machinery and equipment away from residential neighborhoods and school zones.
Project Start Date: Winter 2024
Funding: MP has been awarded the design of the facility.
Expected Cost: $8,764,500.00
