Front Beach Sidewalk Repairs consist of three phases:
Phase I: This phase consisted of replacing a section on the eastern portion of the Front Beach Sidewalk. This phase was completed by Jay Bearden Construction. The total cost for Phase I was $343,174.00 and was funded by Tidelands and Jackson County GOMESA.
Phase II: This phase consists of replacing nine sections along the Front Beach Sidewalk. This phase is currently under construction by Jay Bearden Construction. The expected completion date is July 2024. The total cost for Phase II is estimated at $894,958.50 and is funded by FEMA.
Phase III: This phase is under design. The total funding for Phase III is estimated at $700,000.00 and is funded by Jackson County GOMESA.
