City of Ocean Springs Collecting Donations for Hurricane Ida Relief in Cut Off, Louisiana

Ocean Springs, MS The City of Ocean Springs is collecting donation items to deliver to Cut Off, Louisiana, the hometown of Ward 2 Alderman Rickey Authement, in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida. Hurricane Ida hit the Louisiana Coast impacting many areas on August 29, 2021. As a City, we have adopted Cut Off, Louisiana to focus our hurricane relief efforts.

We will accept donations at City Hall located at 1018 Porter Avenue and the Ocean Springs Fire Department (across from Walmart) located at 3820 Bienville Blvd. The deadline to drop off donations will be Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at 5:00pm as our Fire Department and Police Department plan on delivering items to Cut Off on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.
