    You must be at least 21 years of age to rent the facility and sign this contract.

    Rentals are for a 5 Hour period Only.

  2. Important Notice

    The entire facility is tobacco-free.
    There will be no exceptions.
    If this policy is not enforced with your guests, you will forfeit your deposit.

  3. Please read carefully before signing agreement:

    Lessee represents that it is fully aware of all of the applicable laws and ordinances pertaining to the use of this property and the lessee will fully abide by all such laws, rules, and ordinances.

    Lessee further represents that it will not conduct nor allow to be conducted any improper or unlawful act or deed in or on the premises of the facility and specifically that it will not violate such laws, Rules, or Ordinances concerning curfew, minors' rights, disorderly conduct, sale or use of alcoholic beverages, or any other like or similar activities, or deed and in consideration of lease of premises does further indemnify and hold harmless the City of Ocean Springs and/or its officers, agents, and employees.

    No outside grills or frying stations are allowed.

    No boiling stations (seafood etc.)

    Tents are not allowed to be erected on the facility grounds

    No bounce houses or water slides etc. allowed

    Rental Fee: $250

    The deposit is due the day the facility is booked. Once the rental site has been inspected by the Parks Department, the request for a refund of the deposit will be sent to Ocean Springs City Hall for approval and disbursement. If the event is canceled before the rental date, the deposit is Non-Refundable.

    (Tables and chairs can be provided for a fee of $100 – 12 Round Tables and approximately 50 chairs)

    Rental is only for the square grassy area as well as the Stage. The Pavilion is not available for rental and will remain open to the public at all times.

  6. Rental Procedures
    • The renter must provide security and notify the City of Ocean Springs Parks and Recreation Department of the arrangements for security no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled event.
    • Ocean Springs will not provide supervision in the form of any employee during the scheduled event.
    • The facility must be completely vacated by the time specified on this rental contract unless otherwise requested. The City of Ocean Springs will not be responsible for any items left, misplaced, or stolen in the facility during this event, or following the conclusion of the reserved event.
    • It is the responsibility of the renter to maintain the cleanliness of the facilities during the dates and times of rental specified in this contract.
    • Gambling in any form is strictly prohibited.
    • Maintaining order and control over all persons or guests attending this event, and encouraging them to abide by all the policies and procedures of this facility during the reserved period of time is the renter’s responsibility.
    • The Facility restrooms will remain open to the public at all times during the function unless otherwise specified by the City of Ocean Springs.
    • No glass bottles
  7. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in loss of all or portions of the deposit to cover applicable fees.

    Renters are responsible for the cost and repair or replacement of any Ocean Springs Facility property (e.g. buildings, grounds, contents, or equipment) which is damaged or destroyed by the renter or anyone attending the function during an event covered by the rental contract. The cost of such repair or replacement will be determined by the City. All costs will be paid in full by the renter up to the amount of the insurance policy deductible. Any damage to any property of the City of Ocean Springs must be reported to the City of Ocean Springs Parks and Leisure department immediately.

  8. Alcohol

    No persons or group renting this facility will be permitted to sell alcoholic beverages to the public. Groups/Individuals are not permitted to bring alcoholic beverages for their Personal Consumption without Pre-Approval from the Mayor and Board of Alderman.

    If any type of alcohol is present on the premises of this facility without proper approval and security personnel available, you will forfeit your deposit. If this policy is not enforced with your guests, you will forfeit your deposit.
