City of Ocean Springs Annual Fireworks Show
Ocean Springs, MS – The City of Ocean Springs will host its annual fireworks show for Independence Day on Friday, June 30, 2023, at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Front Beach in Ocean Springs.
The show will follow the conclusion of Friday at the Fort, which will take place from 6-9 p.m. at Fort Maurepas Park. Free to the public, Friday at the Fort occurs the final Friday of every month through September and will feature food & drink, games. This month’s entertainment is Dr. Zarr’s Amazing Funk Monster. Those at Fort Maurepas City Park are encouraged to walk over to the beach to enjoy the fireworks show.
For the safety of our citizens, there will be a restricted area stretching 600 feet in all directions from the barge. No boat traffic will be allowed within this area which will be barricaded and patrolled.
Front Beach Drive will turn into one-way traffic, from the Yacht Club to Washington Avenue, at 4:00 p.m. by the Ocean Springs Police Department. There will be no parking on the north side of Front Beach Drive.
Certain streets will be closed to thru traffic. As always, it is at police discretion whether to add, remove, or relocate barricades.
The Following Roads will be Closed:
-Martin Avenue at Cleveland Avenue
-Hillandale Avenue at McGinnis Avenue
-Jackson Avenue at Ocean Avenue
-Washington Avenue at Front Beach
-Front Beach will be barricaded east of Hillandale Avenue
