Ocean Springs, MS – The City of Ocean Springs is excited to participate in The March of the Mayors presented by Extra Table. This campaign is a food collection drive for the Coast’s local food pantry. The food collection will last until March 24. Ocean Springs has been asked to collect canned fruit.
“I’m happy that our city is partaking in such an important campaign that will not only benefit our community but the entire Coast,” said Mayor Kenny Holloway. “I encourage those who can donate to the food collection or participate in the packing party.”
Ocean Springs drop-off locations:
- Ocean Springs City Hall – 1018 Porter Avenue
- Ocean Springs Central Fire Station – 3820 Bienville Boulevard
- Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce – 1000 Washington Ave
Extra Table is the partnership launched in 2009 by well-known restaurateur Robert St. John to make a difference in the lives of Mississippians by fundraising to stock food pantries and soup kitchens across the state with wholesome nutritious food.
