Ocean Springs, MS – Starting on June 17, 2024, Government Street will close to thru traffic for phase two of the Government Street Sidewalk Improvement Project. The complete road closure will be between Blue Heron Blvd and Hanshaw Road. This closure is projected to last for approximately 2 weeks.
Detours will be in place at Government Street and Ocean Springs Road and at Government Street and Hanshaw Road.
The Government Street Sidewalk Improvement project will provide sidewalks on the north side of Government Street near Davis Bayou.
